The Site
GreenLeafCoupons.com was designed with the user in mind. We reviewed thousands of coupon sites, their layouts, their deal presentation, the products offered and the quality of the knowledge they presented.
While there were many sites that demonstrated one, maybe two of the characteristics we considered, none met our expectations for a unique, better, special experience that we were looking for in a website.
Our home page is YOUR home page.
Go ahead, move a box, move two, open one, shut one, move more boxes. When you come back to the site next time the layout YOU designed is still in place.
We developed a dashboard free of ad clutter.
There is nothing worse than a site full of ads, or so many ads that you can’t tell what is a deal and what is an ad. While we do have affiliate advertisers, we reserve that stuff for when you decide you have found something interesting.
We do not SPAM, nor do we believe in CLUTTER
Many sites scrape information and republish across their blog ad nauseum. We see this as SPAM. We are committed to providing our own content. That is not to say that we may read other blogs for ideas, deals, etc., but we write our own content and are dedicated to bringing you real-world experiences while couponing.
We are couponers
We are in stores. We take pictures and put together unique deals. Most of our deals are specific to Mississippi (Jackson Metro – Ridgeland/Madison/Brandon) and can apply to stores in the Delta Region (MS/AR/TN/LA/AL) depending on the retailer. Our deals sometimes apply to the entire Southest US or Nationally. In any case, we always seek to provide accurate pricing and coupon information; however, some times regional, store, manager differences will trump our deal. That is OK. As you continue to coupon you will find yourself learning how to overcome these issues and continue to save Greenbacks!
Our deals are relevant to our lives
We are focused on our content and the presentation of our information in a way that is beneficial to you, a real person. You will find deals by store are focused on “high-value” products and prices for items that we use in our everyday life. While there is one philosophy that all the deals are valuable, the “one-off” deal that few would find helpful usually can be had while you are putting together your core shopping deals. We typically will not be posting a repetitive blood glucose meter available at Walgreens for free.
We encourage a learning environment
When we see a deal, we seek to share our personal experience, our friends feedback, your feedback (through comments) along with relevant products for the season, for families, for men/women/children and on items you use everyday.
We are involved with charity
We also encourage charity and support disaster relief efforts. While we are not a large operation, we do keep a box in the back of our car full of personal hygiene items. It recently came in handy as we passed through Tuscaloosa, AL as a donation to the Red Cross. We encourage all to do the same. A small idea like this when you are out and about and stop by the men’s or women’s shelter and make someone’s life.
